Orange et MTN : jeu de passe-passe avec Moustik et Takam

Moustik est l’humoriste camerounais qui a exploré et explosé en premier (sur) les réseaux sociaux. Il est aujourd’hui parmi les personnalités les plus suivies sur Facebook (avec 1.2 millions d’abonnés) et même sur Instagram. Il est réputé pour être très créatif et inspiré, avec des vidéos les unes toujours aussi drôles et inattendues que les autres. Il est connu aussi pour être celui qui a tendu la main véritablement à Ulrich Takam lors de ses premiers pas dans l’humour avant que ce dernier ne commence à voler de ses propres ailes.
Aujourd’hui tous deux sont, peut-être pas encore au sommet, mais à un niveau important de leur carrière, chacun à son niveau a su hisser son art à un standard très élevé ; et pour les atteindre, il faudra vraiment se lever tôt, ou même ne jamais dormir. Ils sont tous deux courtisés par les plus grandes marques au Cameroun, dont les GOATS sont sans aucun doute Orange et MTN Cameroun.
Moustik est proche de la marque Orange depuis 2018, lorsqu’il était invité pour les éditions d’Orange Comedie Club, un concept de la marque Orange pour promouvoir le stand up camerounais. En 2019, Moustik est rappelé par la marque aux côtés de Steve Fah pour le lancement de la campagne Orange Money Arnaque. Et quelques temps après, dans l’année 2021, il est aux côtés de la marque comme influenceur. Il est aussi présent lors de plusieurs campagnes de lancement et plusieurs concepts en ligne.
En ce moment-là, Ulrich Takam était du côté de MTN Cameroun, son déploiement avec les jaunes était un peu plus important. On l’a vu lors du teasing de la campagne « la terre ne ment pas », lors du lancement de la campagne des terrains, dans les spots TV, sur le terrain, lors des évènements, sur les réseaux sociaux, etc…Takam était partout et sur tous les supports. Un traitement qui était un peu éloigné de celui de Moustik chez Orange.
En 2023, l’année a commencé avec de grandes affiches d’Orange Cameroun avec Takam en avant. Il a été le porte étendard de la campagne « PAWA » d’Orange. On l’a vu aussi lors de l’évènement de lancement comme MC, on l’a vu dans les spots TV de la campagne et il prépare plusieurs autres concepts dans ce sens.
Et sans trop attendre, bon 4 mois après le début d’année, Moustik a changé de camp et de couleur, désormais il baigne dans la sauce jaune de MTN Cameroun comme de la Karisma, le restaurant qu’il a ouvert et offert à sa compagne. Moustik est avec MTN et semble se sentir bien, car pour une fois il apparaît sur les supports de campagne de la marque. Il est l’un des acteurs principaux de la campagne « MTN Anti-foirage » qui a débuté il y a quelques jours.
C’est assurément le plus grand mercato d’influenceur ayant existé entre les marques au Cameroun. On se demande si ces changements sont motivés par les valeurs ou par le money ? « Le pawa du foirage » n’est pas à négliger.
